Tom Sellwood is an award-winning performer and vocal coach whose career spans Broadway, London’s West End, and international stages. His credits include leading roles in major musicals, national tours, and acclaimed concert work throughout the United States and United Kingdom.
As Studio Director of Sellwood Studio of Performing Arts, Tom is best known for his work as a teacher and mentor. Students of Mr. Sellwood have earned recognition through YoungArts, the Rising Star Awards, Foxy Awards, NJ Governor’s Awards, NATS competitions at the local, regional, and national levels, Just Keep Singing, LONJ Rising Star Awards, and Workshop on the Arts. They have also gained admission to some of the nation’s most competitive collegiate theatre and music programs.
Tom is sought after for his ability to develop exceptional young performers capable of competing at the highest levels of musical theatre and contemporary commercial music. Drawing on decades of professional experience, he combines elite technical training with deep expertise in today’s vocal styles, helping singers build powerful, versatile voices while maintaining long-term vocal health.
