Becca Axler—age 12.
Becca Axler is in seventh grade at Madison Junior School. She has been taking private lessons with Tom Sellwood for almost two years, and enjoyed various other Sellwood Studio group and summer classes before that. She is thrilled to have recently been cast in the title role in the Madison Junior School production of Peter Pan, Jr., set to be performed outdoors at the end of April, 2021. Last year, she was cast as Genie in the MJS production of Aladdin, Jr., but, unfortunately, the show was canceled due to Covid. She always loves performing with the Spotlight Kids Company, having appeared in numerous SKC musicals, plays, and cabarets since 2016, including in the role of Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, Jr. When she’s not rehearsing or performing, Becca enjoys doing activities with her Girl Scout troop, playing soccer and softball, and playing with her bearded dragon.
