SUNDAY

Raise Your Voice!

FIRST STAGE · Grades K-4 · Sundays 1:00–2:00 PM

Do you love to sing? Raise Your Voice! is a fun and engaging group singing class designed for young performers ready to shine. In this uplifting group class, students explore age-appropriate songs, learn simple choreography, and take part in exciting performances. Along the way, they build confidence, make new friends, and discover the joy of creating music together. Every voice matters—and every voice gets to shine!

MONDAY

Show Class: Descendants

FIRST STAGE · Grades K–4 · Mondays 4:00–5:00 PM

Long live evil! Inspired by Disney’s popular Descendants franchise, this high-energy musical theatre class brings heroes, villains, friendship, and adventure to the stage. Students will help craft their own original show using songs, scenes, characters, and themes inspired by the Descendants world. Through singing, acting, and exciting choreography, they’ll develop characters, contribute their own ideas, and work together to create a theatrical story from the ground up. The class culminates in a free, fully produced performance featuring lights and sound!

Musical Theatre Dance II

NEXT STAGE · Grades 6-10 · Mondays 5:00–5:45 PM

Dance on into this high-energy class that blends Broadway-style choreography with character and storytelling! Students build technique, confidence, and stage presence while learning fun choreography inspired by classic and contemporary musicals.

TUESDAY

Mini Mainstage: Disney’s Winnie the Pooh Kids

FIRST STAGE · Grades K-4 · Tuesdays 4:00–6:00 PM

Embark on a journey into the Hundred Acre Wood in this charming and fully licensed production of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh Kids, designed for students in grades K–4! Inspired by the beloved stories and musical, young performers will bring Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, and all their lovable friends to life on stage. After a low-pressure audition, students will receive their roles and scripts and spend the rest of the session developing their characters, learning choreography and music, and rehearsing scenes. The session culminates in two fully produced, ticketed performances on Saturday, April 3, featuring costumes, props, lights, sound, and set!

Lights, Camera, Acting!

FIRST STAGE · Grades 2-5 · Tuesdays 6:00–7:00 PM

Learn how to act for the screen! In this fun and fast-paced class, students explore what it takes to perform in movies, TV shows, and commercials. Through scene work, improvisation, and filmed projects, they’ll learn how to express emotion naturally, take direction, and bring characters to life in front of the camera. Each session builds confidence, creativity, and teamwork — with plenty of laughs along the way!

Acting for the Camera

NEXT STAGE · Grades 6-10 · Tuesdays 7:00–8:00 PM

Step in front of the lens and discover what it takes to act for film and television! In this class, students will work on commercial copy, film scenes, and audition techniques while learning how to deliver natural, truthful performances on camera. Each week focuses on real-world skills — hitting marks, taking direction, and building confidence on set — culminating in recorded scenes that showcase their growth as on-camera performers. Footage may be shared at the end of the session for families and future audition use.

WEDNESDAY

Bring the Sing: The Sound of Music

FIRST STAGE · Grades K-3 · Wednesdays 4:00–5:00 PM

A lively and joyful singing class where young voices take center stage! Students learn basic vocal technique and foundational singing skills through beloved songs from The Sound of Music. Engaging theatrical games and creative movement also help encourage self-expression, build confidence, and help every young performer discover the joy of finding their voice. This class culminates in a free, fully produced performance featuring lights and sound!

Show Class: Queens of the Stage (Six and & Juliet)

FIRST STAGE · Grades 3-6 · Wednesdays 5:00–6:00 PM

Own the stage in this new musical theatre class designed especially for tween performers! Inspired by the contemporary Broadway musicals SIX and & Juliet, this musical theatre class celebrates bold characters, pop-inspired music, confidence, and finding your voice. Students will work together to craft their own show using songs, scenes, choreography, and themes inspired by these empowering musicals and the famous queens who take center stage. They’ll develop characters, contribute creative ideas, and create an original theatrical experience that showcases their individual personalities and talents. The class culminates in a free, fully produced performance featuring lights and sound!

Mastering the Audition Room

NEXT STAGE · Grades 5-10 · Wednesdays 7:30–8:30 PM

Auditions are about more than getting the right notes or lines—they’re about making a strong impression in the room. Students will learn to select and prepare material, make confident acting and vocal choices, handle redirects, slate professionally, and navigate cold reads, callbacks, and dance calls. With individualized feedback and audition-style practice, students will build the confidence, polish, and adaptability to walk into any audition prepared and ready to perform.

Show Class: Seussical

FIRST STAGE · Grades K-4 · Thursdays 4:00–5:00 PM

Step into the colorful and wonderfully wacky world of Dr. Seuss! Inspired by Seussical, this playful musical theatre class invites students to help create their own show using songs, scenes, characters, and themes from the whimsical Seuss universe. Students will sing, act, dance, and let their imaginations run wild as they develop characters and collaborate on the story they bring to life. The class culminates in a free, fully produced performance featuring lights and sound!

Show Class: Matilda

FIRST STAGE · Grades 2-5 · Thursdays 5:00–6:00 PM

Sometimes, you have to be a little bit naughty! Inspired by Matilda the Musical, this empowering class celebrates clever kids, big imaginations, and the courage to make your voice heard. Students will help craft their own show using songs, scenes, characters, and themes inspired by Matilda, her unforgettable classmates, the Wormwoods, Miss Honey, and the unforgettable Miss Trunchbull. Through singing, acting, choreography, and collaborative storytelling, students will contribute their own ideas while building confidence and creating a show together. The class culminates in a free, fully produced performance featuring lights and sound!

Acting Technique

NEXT STAGE · Grades 5-9 · Thursdays 6:00–7:00 PM

Ready to take your acting to the next level? Designed for intermediate to advanced performers, this challenging and rewarding class focuses on building authentic characters, strengthening emotional connections, and developing strong scene work. Students will explore acting techniques through monologues, partner scenes, improvisation, and ensemble exercises while receiving individualized coaching in a supportive environment. Whether preparing for auditions or looking to grow as a performer, actors will sharpen their skills, deepen their craft, and gain confidence both on and off the stage.

Senior Cabaret

MAINSTAGE · Grades 7-12 · Thursdays 7:30-8:45 PM

Looking for a chance to perform without a huge commitment? Senior Cabaret gives advanced older students the opportunity to collaborate, develop performance material, and prepare for a polished final showcase without the rehearsal demands of a full production. Students will explore cabaret and contemporary musical theatre while refining their artistry, storytelling, and stage presence. Designed for motivated performers who want to work together, challenge themselves, and create something they’re proud to share. Class will end in a fully staged cabaret with group and individual numbers.

FRIDAY

Show Class: Frozen

FIRST STAGE · Grades K-4 · Fridays 4:00–5:00 PM

Let it go in this energetic and fun-filled show class inspired by Disney’s Frozen! Young performers will build skills in singing, dancing, and acting as they bring favorite characters and unforgettable songs to life. Perfect for kids who love to perform, express themselves, and explore all three areas of musical theatre in a supportive, confidence-boosting environment. The class culminates in a free, fully produced performance featuring lights and sound!

Triple Threat I: Disney Hits

FIRST STAGE · Grades K-4 · Fridays 5:00–6:00 PM

An energetic and fun-filled class where young performers build skills in singing, dancing, and acting. Perfect for kids who love to express themselves and want to explore all three areas of musical theatre in a supportive, confidence-boosting environment. This class culminates in a free, fully produced performance featuring lights and sound!

SATURDAY

Group Songwriting

NEXT STAGE · Grades 5-10 · Saturdays 1:00–2:00 PM

Want to bring your musical ideas to life? Designed for aspiring and developing songwriters, this collaborative class focuses on finding your creative voice, strengthening your songwriting skills, and learning how to turn ideas into finished songs. Students will explore melody, lyrics, harmony, song structure, and creative writing techniques while working together in a supportive group environment. Through songwriting exercises, collaboration, and individualized feedback, students will build confidence, develop their unique artistic style, and leave with new songs and practical tools they can carry into their own creative work.

Contemporary Vocal Studio

MAINSTAGE · Grades 5-10 · Saturdays 2:00–3:00 PM

Designed for older students who are serious about developing their pop vocal technique, this small-group studio provides focused instruction in a supportive and collaborative environment. Students will work on breath support, vocal control, tone, range, dynamics, phrasing, and stylistic choices while exploring music from today’s pop artists and influential contemporary vocalists. With individualized coaching within a small group setting, singers will learn to make confident, intentional vocal choices, develop their unique sound, and build the skills needed to perform with greater freedom, artistry, and confidence.

JANUARY ONLY SATURDAY CLASSES

Musical Theatre Movement for Actors & Singers

FIRST STAGE · Grades 6-12 · Saturdays 1:00–2:00 PM (January only)

Not a dancer? This class is for you! Designed specifically for singers and actors, this class focuses on the essential dance and movement skills performers need to feel confident in auditions, rehearsals, and productions. Students will learn foundational technique, musicality, coordination, and common musical theatre movement styles in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Whether you're preparing for auditions or looking to feel more comfortable when choreography is part of the job, this class will help you move with confidence and tell stories through movement—without the pressure of a traditional dance class.

January Broadway Dance Intensive

NEXT STAGE · Grades 6-12 · Saturdays 2:00–3:00 PM (January only)

Learn from Broadway actress Paige Faure in this high-energy class that blends Broadway-style dance with character and storytelling. Students build technique, confidence, and stage presence while learning choreography inspired by classic and contemporary musicals.
