Callbacks, rehearsals, and the staged production will all be at Sellwood Studio of Performing Arts at 19 Green Avenue, Fellowship Hall, Madison, NJ

Submission guidelines (please read!):

Participation Fee: $500. Please note that depending on the number of submissions, we may need to make cuts. You will only pay this fee if you are in the production.

Audition information:

Video auditions are due by midnight on September 2 (Labor Day).
Call-back announcements will be made by midnight September 3rd.
In-person callbacks are Saturday, September 7 from 2-5PM.

What we need:
32 Bars of an uptempo, musical theater song (1 minute) in the style of the show that shows off your vocal range and acting abilities. Shows like ‘Be More Chill’ and ’13 The Musical’ are good options for appropriate style songs.

Submission guidelines (please read!):

• Try and find a space with a plain background and good lighting (ie no shadows on your face)
• Use a tripod to film if possible, and shoot from the waist up
• Film horizontally in landscape only (not portrait!)
• Make sure there is a balance between the vocals and the backing track. If you need to move the camera further away from your sound source, or adjust the volume of the track, please do so to ensure we can hear your vocals. The sound should be on a separate device from the one being used to film the audition.
• At the start, slate your name and the song you’ll be singing
• Make strong character and acting choices and tell the story throughout the song
• Once you are happy with your video, please fill out this form. OPEN FORM
• You must provide us a video link on the form with the following guidelines:

Acceptable links/formats:

• YouTube (unlisted or private)
• Vimeo (unlisted)
• iCloud link
• Dropbox link
• Google Drive link
• Other Cloud link

Not accepted links/formats:

• Any links to public videos
• Facebook video
• Instagram video
• TikTok video
